Narrative:

I was on approach to a field for landing, did not get an expected left hook (based on other balloons landing in the same field prior to my attempt), and aborted the landing. The balloon was too cool to clear the lines and contact was made slightly with the runners on the bottom of the balloon. I burned using both blast valves in order to avoid contact. If this were to occur again, I will not wait to abort landing. No damage to person or equipment occurred.
