Narrative:

During an ILS approach to runway 4 jul the landing gear failed to indicate proper extention. (Green light on right main gear and no green light left main). Several attempts at normal and emergency extension failed to cause the left main green light to light. After a missed approach at jul we proceeded to madison, wi, and after more attempts at extension of the landing gear decided to land the aircraft on the belly with both landing gear retracted. The passengers were briefed and emergency equipment was ordered. The initial plan to circle to land on runway 4 on the first approach was not possible due WX less than reported. A missed approach wax completed and we landed straight in from the ILS approach on runway 36. The landing was smooth and aircraft rolled on the exposed wheels to a near normal stop. The emergency equipment met the aircraft and an evacuation of all aboard was completed. There were no injuries to passengers or crew and very little damage to the aircraft.
