Narrative:

Flight was from cdc to sgu. My clearance from ZLC through cdc FSS on 122.6 was, 'ATC clears...from the cedar city airport to the st george airport via V235 matzo direct st george, maintain 12000', squawk (I don't remember now), contact ZLC 133.9.' when I got to matzo I was IMC. Sgu AWOS was broadcasting no clouds below 1000' and visibility 10 mi. ZLA told me to go to sgu on V235 and upon reaching cleared for the approach, but expect to break out prior to sgu. I looked at my map and noticed that the arwy went to MMM, not ozn. I requested the matzo transition to sgu and clearance for the approach so I could come out of 12000'. The controller said to stay on V235, and he did not care what altitude I descended to (V235 MEA at that point was 9000'). I don't think the controller knew that ozn is not a fix on V235. Also, a couple of yrs ago, I did a VOR-C with a missed approach. Requested the DME approach and got a clearance for the approach, but the controller would not tell me how to get from ozn to start the approach. I flew out on the inbound course, did a procedure turn and did the approach. Also, the ILS 25 into idaho falls is missing 'no pt' from maltt, but the NDB 25 has it. Suspect misprint on charts.

Title: CONFUSION ON TRANSITION FOR APCH TO SGU.

Narrative: FLT WAS FROM CDC TO SGU. MY CLRNC FROM ZLC THROUGH CDC FSS ON 122.6 WAS, 'ATC CLRS...FROM THE CEDAR CITY ARPT TO THE ST GEORGE ARPT VIA V235 MATZO DIRECT ST GEORGE, MAINTAIN 12000', SQUAWK (I DON'T REMEMBER NOW), CONTACT ZLC 133.9.' WHEN I GOT TO MATZO I WAS IMC. SGU AWOS WAS BROADCASTING NO CLOUDS BELOW 1000' AND VISIBILITY 10 MI. ZLA TOLD ME TO GO TO SGU ON V235 AND UPON REACHING CLRED FOR THE APCH, BUT EXPECT TO BREAK OUT PRIOR TO SGU. I LOOKED AT MY MAP AND NOTICED THAT THE ARWY WENT TO MMM, NOT OZN. I REQUESTED THE MATZO TRANSITION TO SGU AND CLRNC FOR THE APCH SO I COULD COME OUT OF 12000'. THE CTLR SAID TO STAY ON V235, AND HE DID NOT CARE WHAT ALT I DSNDED TO (V235 MEA AT THAT POINT WAS 9000'). I DON'T THINK THE CTLR KNEW THAT OZN IS NOT A FIX ON V235. ALSO, A COUPLE OF YRS AGO, I DID A VOR-C WITH A MISSED APCH. REQUESTED THE DME APCH AND GOT A CLRNC FOR THE APCH, BUT THE CTLR WOULD NOT TELL ME HOW TO GET FROM OZN TO START THE APCH. I FLEW OUT ON THE INBND COURSE, DID A PROC TURN AND DID THE APCH. ALSO, THE ILS 25 INTO IDAHO FALLS IS MISSING 'NO PT' FROM MALTT, BUT THE NDB 25 HAS IT. SUSPECT MISPRINT ON CHARTS.
