Narrative:

We took off from myrtle beach AFB and were instructed to fly 080 degree heading. We heard 3 controller directives that were all overridden by a supervisor and we believe some type of training was in progress. The controller then turned us to 030 degree and climb to 10000'. Shortly after this instruction a supervisor came on and gave us an immediate turn to 330 degree and stop climb at 6000'. Our TCAS alert then issued a command to descend. We continued left turn to 330 degree and a rapid descent. The southbound aircraft then passed to our right and slightly above.
