Narrative:

In 2/91, on a VFR flight from sus to ilg, aircraft had apparently violated R5503A. Route of flight (sus-css-xub-ilg) was planned to avoid R5503A. Navigation via LORAN. Upon arrival at ilg, message from FAA to call FAA inspector. He was contacted and he stated that I violated R5503A and to call ZID manager. He stated that I had penetrated the north edge of R5503A. During the flight, all navigation systems appeared normal and there was not any indication that the LORAN was not working properly. After returning to sus the antenna connection was found not secured to the antenna, which apparently caused the course deviation.
