Narrative:

Flying back from rocky mt wilson to clt landing on runway 36R at night, with the right landing light and taxi light inoperative. (There were no write ups on lights being out). I had landed and was told by clt tower to make the first right turn due to traffic on short final and one aircraft in position for takeoff. Since the right landing light and taxi lights were out, I had trouble finding the turnoff lines or seeing any right turnoff. I missed one at D4 and as quick as I could looked for the next right turn and called that I had cleared the runway. By that time the tower had told the aircraft to go around. I was off frequency and did see it go around. I believe it was a commuter or small aircraft.
