Narrative:

We were to hurry across active runway because of landing traffic. Ground control also said we would follow light transport ahead. The problem was there were 2 ltts. We almost hit the one we were to follow because we did not see it. Ground assumed we were all talking about the same aircraft. Also aircraft we were to follow had no lights on while taxiing (ie, taxi and landing lights). Visibility was low due to fog and rain. We should not have xed active runway on a hurry across clearance.
