Narrative:

After aircraft parked at gate upon arrival into ZZZ; a strong smell of kerosene like fumes came into cabin. Passengers sitting near my jumpsuit 2R commented and even asked what the 'smell of fumes' was. I had already called the captain and advised we were being 'fumed' in the cabin and that there was a strong kerosene smell. He said 'oh ok'. Suggestions: turn both engines off before hooking up air to cabin i.e. APU suggestion.
