Narrative:

Air carrier X to land on runway 25L. As the PNF, I read back the clearance to land on runway 25L. The captain and F/east also heard '25L'. As we got closer to runway 25L (at approximately 500') we noticed air carrier Y holding between runways 25L and 25R on taxiway 8. Air carrier Y was beyond the hold line for runway 25L but was clear of the runway. Air carrier Y asked the tower if our aircraft was landing on runway 25L. As we were touching down the tower told air carrier Y that we had been cleared to land on runway 25R. The captain called the tower from operations and the supervisor indicated there was 'no problem.'
