Narrative:
I am a student pilot who was on a flight for practice pattern landings. It was a busy morning; I thought I heard that I was number 2 to follow traffic ahead to land instead it was actually number 4 to follow the traffic ahead. I reported back to the ATC that I had the traffic insight that is turning onto final (#2); and heard back from the ATC that was the correct traffic to follow. As I begin to turn my base to final; I almost collide with another plane left below me. It was the third aircraft that I did not see in the pattern. However; no one was hurt and no planes were hit.
