Narrative:

My aircraft was involved in a ground incident after being struck in the tail section by the wing tip of another aircraft maneuvering behind me. I was parked at the ramp at jfk. After the aircraft which caused the accident was inspected by a local mechanic, I was directed by my company to maintenance ferry that aircraft. I have subsequently learned that neither aircraft should have been moved until inspected by the local FAA district office or NTSB.
