Narrative:

Atx X, light transport was practicing INS approachs at gsp. I gave the altimeter as 30.01 off the right side display. After missing the approach atx X questioned the altimeter setting. I repeated it as 30.01. While the aircraft was shooting another approach I checked the WX sequence off of the d-side display. Although the sequence hadn't changed, it showed the altimeter as 30.20. I rechked the r-side display and it still showed 30.01. I looked at the time and the r-side altimeter was 5 hours old. I reported this to the watch desk and they advised me we were having line trouble with the WX service. This incident was on the midnight shift. The gsp WX was indefinite ceiling 100, sky obscured, visibility 1/4 mi.
