Narrative:
Landing; [runway] 34 to the north. Landed a little hard. When that happened my left control stick switch top popped off which let my hand come off the control stick; this took me by surprise and I started to run off the asphalt runway into the grass between the runway and the taxiway. I took control and reentered the runway and continued to my home/hangar without incident. No damage to the airport/airplane was done.
