Narrative:

Our aircraft was turning crosswind when another aircraft asked for a traffic advisory but other aircraft had not specified airport of intention. As our aircraft started turn to downwind we went to ask which airport the other plane was talking to help give a traffic advisory at which point we noticed other aircraft was already entering the pattern right in front of us. Emergency descent had to be performed to avoid midair collision with other aircraft who had made no radio calls about position or entry. A contributing factor to this could be that we had not made a 'turning downwind' radio call as we were still turning to the downwind when the event occurred.
