Narrative:

Over the final approach fix (VOR runway 27), swf tower told us to check our altitude due to a low altitude alert which approach control received. Our altimeters checked normal in flight and after landing. The approach was executed as published with no deviations. On the ground I talked to the tower and they told us via ground control that this 'happens all the time, and it is an internal ATC systems problem.'
