Narrative:

Slc center issued a heading for traffic and radar vectors to obh, I accepted a 090 degree heading but informed ARTCC that I could not accept a direct routing to obh due to mountain wave conditions, I was later asked again to go direct obh I refused and was given dir bff. My flight plan specified that I was on a specific route to avoid mountain wave. I stated my intent to remain on my flight plan route. Why can salt lake center not manage their airspace west/O ramming an unsafe routing down my throat. This is a repeat problem with slc ARTCC. They are very uncooperative. We do not have this problem with denver.
