Narrative:
Shortly after departure around 1;000 feet AGL we encountered wake turbulence from a previously departed A321 on runway 17R. The aircraft was about to enter an unusual attitude and the stall shaker was momentarily activated. I was the flying pilot and I did a stall recovery procedure and turned left away from the turbulence and advised ATC. The flight continued without further issue. Suggestions: more separation between departing aircraft.
