Narrative:

Flying the RNAV rnp Z rwy 34R; at himom; autopilot on; the aircraft maintained 11;000 feet and did not turn for the approach. We had programmed the approach and checked that all points were in the system. We had LNAV and VNAV selected with 7;000 feet for the next altitude in the window. When the plane didn't turn I clicked off the autopilot to correct the course and start descent; but the controller told us to maintain heading and then vectored us for the visual approach 34R.
