Narrative:

While operating [this] flight; we had a GPWS event. It was night under VMC conditions; and we had been cleared for the visual approach to runway 30 into ZZZ. We descended to the appropriate altitude and started to configure for landing and as we were doing so; the GPWS event occurred. We immediately responded by pulling up; leveling off; and confirming that we were indeed at a safe altitude. We continued on the visual approach and landed without any issue.
