Narrative:

Was departing runway xxl in ZZZZ. We were taking off at 861;000 lbs with a max power flap 20 takeoff. The crew consisted of captain; first officer #1; relief pilot; first officer #2; and jumpseater. The takeoff felt normal as well as gear and flap retraction. It was first officer #1's takeoff and the 1st leg of IOE for him with me. Climb out was normal with a cruise altitude of 30;000 feet. After passing into ZZZZ1's airspace; we were about 30 minutes into the flight when we got a call from ZZZZ1 that ZZZZ said they think that we left something on the runway and would we check. We looked at the hydraulic synoptic; gear synoptic; and pressurization. Plus; out the windows all were normal. A few minutes later; ZZZZ1 called again said ZZZZ believes we left a tire on the runway. So again; we checked and all were normal. We then called dispatch and had them get [maintenance control] on the phone. [We] asked them to look at the aircraft and see if they could find anything; they did and didn't see anything that we didn't see. We told them that there might have been a tire failure for a heads up for landing in case we did have a failure. The rest of the flight went normally. On landing after touchdown; the aircraft stared to shake badly. We informed tower that we might have had a tire failure on landing. We exited [runway]. We did tell tower that we might have had a tire failure when we were on approach; because there was no indication of one other than a report from ZZZZ. After leaving the runway; the aircraft was taxiing without problem. We checked the brake temps. The right side was 1 or 0. There was no reported smoke and it was a short taxiing to gate so we taxied to gate. Stopping at gate and shutting down; the mechanic said that we had blown number 11 tire. Right body gear aft inboard tire.
