Narrative:

We received a line up clearance onto runway 04R. The line up check was completed. Pilot monitoring inadvertently followed with the callout 'lights on; brakes off; heading verified'. I did not pick up the error and I started to advance the thrust levers and shortly after we heard the call from tower to hold position. The captain took control and the aircraft came to a stop. The power had not been set for take off. We had the takeoff data to allow a takeoff from that position. We proceeded with a normal takeoff from that point once the takeoff clearance was received.I need to be absolutely vigilant on the status of our clearance.
