Narrative:
While on the ground at bountiful skypark, I contacted slc departure on 120.7 for TCA clearance to the south. The controller told me to stay below 5300' until east of I-15 and to then contact departure control on 120.9, which I did. The controller told me to fly at or below 5500' and continue to remain east of I-15, which I did. I was then cleared to 8500' and told to remain east of I-15. At no time was a distance given as to how far from I-15 I was to fly. I was then told to contact departure on 124.3. At this time I was cleared through the TCA and also told upon landing I was to call the tower, which I did upon landing at st george, ut. I called the tower and was informed that I had entered the TCA west/O clearance. I asked when this happened and was told that 3 mi past bountiful skypark I had entered the TCA. I told the person I was talking to that I was only instructed to remain east of I-15 and that no distance from the interstate was given. He then informed me that an aircraft with engine trouble had to adjust its course because of me. I never saw this aircraft, nor was it called out to me. The whole problem could have been avoided if the controllers would have simply told me how far from I-15 they wanted me to fly, or even just said they would like me further to the east than I was.

Title: UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.
Narrative: WHILE ON THE GND AT BOUNTIFUL SKYPARK, I CONTACTED SLC DEP ON 120.7 FOR TCA CLRNC TO THE S. THE CTLR TOLD ME TO STAY BELOW 5300' UNTIL E OF I-15 AND TO THEN CONTACT DEP CTL ON 120.9, WHICH I DID. THE CTLR TOLD ME TO FLY AT OR BELOW 5500' AND CONTINUE TO REMAIN E OF I-15, WHICH I DID. I WAS THEN CLRED TO 8500' AND TOLD TO REMAIN E OF I-15. AT NO TIME WAS A DISTANCE GIVEN AS TO HOW FAR FROM I-15 I WAS TO FLY. I WAS THEN TOLD TO CONTACT DEP ON 124.3. AT THIS TIME I WAS CLRED THROUGH THE TCA AND ALSO TOLD UPON LNDG I WAS TO CALL THE TWR, WHICH I DID UPON LNDG AT ST GEORGE, UT. I CALLED THE TWR AND WAS INFORMED THAT I HAD ENTERED THE TCA W/O CLRNC. I ASKED WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND WAS TOLD THAT 3 MI PAST BOUNTIFUL SKYPARK I HAD ENTERED THE TCA. I TOLD THE PERSON I WAS TALKING TO THAT I WAS ONLY INSTRUCTED TO REMAIN E OF I-15 AND THAT NO DISTANCE FROM THE INTERSTATE WAS GIVEN. HE THEN INFORMED ME THAT AN ACFT WITH ENG TROUBLE HAD TO ADJUST ITS COURSE BECAUSE OF ME. I NEVER SAW THIS ACFT, NOR WAS IT CALLED OUT TO ME. THE WHOLE PROB COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE CTLRS WOULD HAVE SIMPLY TOLD ME HOW FAR FROM I-15 THEY WANTED ME TO FLY, OR EVEN JUST SAID THEY WOULD LIKE ME FURTHER TO THE E THAN I WAS.
