Narrative:
Air carrier X nebnd at FL250, air carrier Y swbnd climbing to FL230 then issued climb to FL260. Sector was getting busy with additional flts and coordination which took attention away from air carrier X and air carrier Y. Conflict alert went off and both aircraft were issued 30 degree turns. Air carrier X acknowledged. I thought air carrier Y did also but apparently did not. I should have asked for assistance sooner which probably would have helped and I should not have been issued a climb to FL260 until later.

Title: ACR WAS ISSUED A CLIMB THROUGH AN OCCUPIED ALT RESULTING IN LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION.
Narrative: ACR X NEBND AT FL250, ACR Y SWBND CLBING TO FL230 THEN ISSUED CLB TO FL260. SECTOR WAS GETTING BUSY WITH ADDITIONAL FLTS AND COORD WHICH TOOK ATTN AWAY FROM ACR X AND ACR Y. CONFLICT ALERT WENT OFF AND BOTH ACFT WERE ISSUED 30 DEG TURNS. ACR X ACKNOWLEDGED. I THOUGHT ACR Y DID ALSO BUT APPARENTLY DID NOT. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE SOONER WHICH PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HELPED AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ISSUED A CLB TO FL260 UNTIL LATER.
