Narrative:
Departure asked our heading. My reply, '350.' he then proceeded to chew me out on the radio for flying a different heading than I acknowledged. I may have erred, but verbal abuse on the frequency only serves to further aggravate the situation. We all make mistakes; I've even witnessed controllers making a few.

Title: A HEADING TRACK DEVIATION BY ACR MLG INCURS THE WRATH OF THE DEP CTLR.
Narrative: DEP ASKED OUR HDG. MY REPLY, '350.' HE THEN PROCEEDED TO CHEW ME OUT ON THE RADIO FOR FLYING A DIFFERENT HDG THAN I ACKNOWLEDGED. I MAY HAVE ERRED, BUT VERBAL ABUSE ON THE FREQ ONLY SERVES TO FURTHER AGGRAVATE THE SITUATION. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES; I'VE EVEN WITNESSED CTLRS MAKING A FEW.
