Narrative:

The ramp at mvy is divided between an airline area and general aviation by a red line containing 'tsa-do not cross' or something similar to that. Unfamiliar with this demarcation; the pilot inadvertently crossed the line for a short distance. To prevent the situation; pilots should be familiar with ramp markings. However; this marking is not contained in [FAA publication TC11-0020] so it would be good to include it in the next edition. A further suggestion is that ground control mention this situation to aircraft taxiing to the general aviation area.
