Narrative:
While preforming a soft field landing on runway xx I drifted to the left on touchdown and came to a stop in the grass directly adjacent to the runway. There were no injuries of any kind or damage to the airplane. Winds were approximately 230 @ 8 knots; which complied with my solo endorsement. The FBO personnel immediately helped tow the airplane to the ramp and out of the controlled environment.I believe I may have not put in adequate crosswind control through the landing phase and my CFI and I are beginning remedial training immediately; starting tomorrow to address my proficiency further.
