Narrative:
While cruising at FL340 we received an ECAM indicating idg 1 oil low pressure. We complied with the non-normal procedure and disconnected idg 1. After approximately 5 minutes; we received an ECAM indicating APU auto shutdown. We [advised ATC] and diverted to [a suitable alternate] where we executed a normal landing and taxied to the gate.

Title: A321 Captain reported a malfunctioning Integrated Drive Generator and subsequent auto shutdown of the APU; necessitating an immediate diversion to a suitable alternate airport.
