Narrative:

Landing zzv I was preoccupied with looking for other reported traffic operating zzv. I was the only person in the aircraft. Went through standard gump (gas, undercarriage, mixture and propeller). I thought the gear was down, but had failed to lower it. The alarm sounded just before T/D, but I failed to recognize the situation. Completely pilot error! Stupid! No excuse for it. Skidded to a smooth stop. Bent propeller and gear doors and sanded bottom of plane. No other apparent structured damage. No injury to myself. Obviously in the future I will have to be more thorough with my checklist and not let myself get distracted.
