Narrative:

Flying the gorman 8 departure off runway 24 out of lax, we encountered several bleed/pack trips (i.e., pressurization problems). The aircraft was on autoplt flying off computer navigation and started a turn early to intercept lax 323 degree right. We were told by center we were off course and to turn immediately to 360 degrees and resume the gorman 8 departure. We did so and nothing else was said. The controller had said he had us about 6 mi off course.
