Narrative:

I was training a deviation on local control and after the deviation cleared air carrier X heavy for takeoff on runway 4L he then instructed air carrier Y to hold short of runway 4L. Air carrier Y readback was cross runway 4L and it went unnoticed. He then proceeded to cross runway 4L and air carrier X on departure roll had to abort. The ways to prevent a recurrence are to have controllers listen more closely to readbacks and for pilots to look before crossing a runway even when a controller says to cross.

Title: ACR Y UNAUTH RWY ENTRY HAD LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION FROM ACR X.

Narrative: I WAS TRNING A DEV ON LCL CTL AND AFTER THE DEV CLRED ACR X HVY FOR TKOF ON RWY 4L HE THEN INSTRUCTED ACR Y TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 4L. ACR Y READBACK WAS CROSS RWY 4L AND IT WENT UNNOTICED. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO CROSS RWY 4L AND ACR X ON DEP ROLL HAD TO ABORT. THE WAYS TO PREVENT A RECURRENCE ARE TO HAVE CTLRS LISTEN MORE CLOSELY TO READBACKS AND FOR PLTS TO LOOK BEFORE XING A RWY EVEN WHEN A CTLR SAYS TO CROSS.
