Narrative:

Departed lax VFR to bur with lax approach on vector and assigned heading and altitude 4500' MSL, led aircraft to edge of TCA and start of burbank arsa then dropped with no handoff to burbank. Took 60 seconds to contact bur approach and climb to 5000' to top arsa. Approach controller should have not given vectors and led aircraft to edge of arsa then dropped it and squawk 1200 with the violating of arsa only seconds away at course and speed of aircraft.

Title: PLT OF CORP TURBOPROP FLYING LAX TO BUR VFR IS DROPPED BY ATC AS HE APCHS THE BOUNDARY OF THE BUR ARSA. PLT HAS INSUFFICIENT TIME TO CONTACT BUR APCH PRIOR TO CROSSING ARSA BOUNDARY.

APCH CTLR SHOULD HAVE NOT GIVEN VECTORS AND LED ACFT TO EDGE OF ARSA THEN DROPPED IT AND SQUAWK 1200 WITH THE VIOLATING OF ARSA ONLY SECS AWAY AT COURSE AND SPD OF ACFT.
