Narrative:

I was advised sometime after our arrival on this flight that the aircraft was damaged by un-commanded movement due to jet blast. I cannot speak to the event or the damage; only review the facts related to our arrival; parking; and termination of this flight. We arrived slightly early parked normally. We had reviewed all company material on the gate and associated hazards. We parked normally; were chocked; and completed all checklist in full accordance with company requirements. Specifically the chocks were reported as in and the parking brake was set. In the parking checklist we verified the parking brake set. There is absolutely no doubt that we were parked; chocked; and brake set upon arrival. We had a connecting flight that we proceeded to un-rushed. As we were leaving the cockpit a tech ops representative was coming into the cockpit. I talked to him as we had an inbound defect. He stated that he was not there to address that issue only to reposition the aircraft to the hanger for work. I presume that he was part of the tech ops team moving the plane and not line maintenance. As we left the aircraft to the maintenance representative it was chocked and brakes set. I defer to the outcome of the investigation as to what ensued after that. Puzzling to me is how jet blast at [the] gate could occur. It is in an idle thrust area well documented by policy bulletins. As I review the video I do not see chocks which were there upon our parking. I am not sure if anyone released the parking brake and pulled the chocks in advance of a move to the hanger although do see a super tug in position possibly to move the plane.
