Narrative:

On arrival; downwind abeam the airport between 11;000 and 12;000 ft; got master warning; fire bell and CAWS (central aural warning system) number 3 engine fire warning. I performed [appropriate immediate action procedures] and directed first officer (first officer) to run the engine fire checklist. I [advised] approach control and requested vectors for visual approach. Fire light and bell silenced when throttle was retarded. First officer completed checklist and we flew visual approach to autoland. We cleared [the runway] at high speed taxiway; stopped and got checked out by fire trucks. They stated no evidence of fire detected. We taxied to ramp with fire trucks following.
