Narrative:

Leaving ssi; engine running; going through checklist; [aircraft Y]; next to me. I announce taxi to runway 04. Wind 060 at 10-15. I announce crossing 16-34. Long taxi to 04. A lineman inquires on radio to what he was going to do [aircraft Y's pilot belongings and receives] quite a terse reply.I did my run up short of 04. Looked back on taxiway for the airplane that had been parked next to me. Did not see it. I announce on CTAF that I was holding short of 04; and request any traffic announce intentions. Another aircraft announced 9 miles south. No other reply. I announced I was departing on 04. I took off. I was 2-300 feet in the air when the other aircraft flew under me as I crossed 16-34. Did not see it until he had passed under me. Obviously took off on 34. There had been no declarations of intentions by him at any time on CTAF. No intention of taxi; holding short; traffic request; runway choice; or departure announcement. He knew I was out there. I taxied in front of him. And he had to hear my announcements (at least taxi). I suspect he changed frequency to jacksonville departure to open a flight plan; and never returned to the CTAF. I picked up my plan after departure; in the air.he almost killed me and my passenger by his careless behavior. I am not sure if this is where I should report it or not. I have thought through everything I did; and cannot think of anything more I could have done.
