Narrative:

Dispatch release had filed route to include -3 departure. Just as clearance was being delivered to the first officer I was interrupted by another cockpit duty. First officer copied clearance and reported a 'cleared as filed' clearance. Shortly after takeoff ATC told us to resume the 'loop-7'. We complied as rapidly as possible. After talking (via plane patch) to our dispatcher we found there had been a mistake in delivering the release. The center stored route was 'loop-7', however, the computer was set-up to deliver a '-3' flight plan. My first officer could not recall if 'loop-7' or '-3' was delivered to him.
