Narrative:

Aircraft departed cdw, nj, in VFR conditions. Flew localizer approach to orange county, broke off to enter traffic pattern; performed normal takeoff and landing (touch and go) and reentered traffic pattern for a second landing. Pilot neglected to use checklist, and on downwind leg forgot to lower landing gear. Forgot to rechk during base and final legs. Approach was normal, on VASI G/south, 70 KIAS. Landing was 'gear up' but on centerline of runway, during flare, damage resulting to propeller and antennas on bottom of aircraft. Engine and airframe okay. No injuries occurred. Gear up horn was not heard during final, probably because power was not at idle (20 degree flaps used until 50' before threshold). Pilot had not flown this aircraft in 2 months, and failed to reuse checklist during this phase of flight. Purpose of flight was to regain familiarity with type. Checklist was used preflight and before takeoff.
