Narrative:
Aircraft was dispatched normal. Engine oil qty 16 qts each side. While en route engine oil qty appeared to slowly be decreasing. Following procedures and at approximately 8 qts remaining it was decided to return to denver. Clearance was obtained and flight proceeded to and landed at denver west/O incident. Engine indications were monitored, no precautionary shut down was required. An engine oil qty leak/loss was confirmed on the ground by maintenance.

Title: FLT CREW OF ACR MLG DETECTED OIL QUANTITY LOSS DURING CLIMB. RETURN LAND.
Narrative: ACFT WAS DISPATCHED NORMAL. ENG OIL QTY 16 QTS EACH SIDE. WHILE ENRTE ENG OIL QTY APPEARED TO SLOWLY BE DECREASING. FOLLOWING PROCS AND AT APPROX 8 QTS REMAINING IT WAS DECIDED TO RETURN TO DENVER. CLRNC WAS OBTAINED AND FLT PROCEEDED TO AND LANDED AT DENVER W/O INCIDENT. ENG INDICATIONS WERE MONITORED, NO PRECAUTIONARY SHUT DOWN WAS REQUIRED. AN ENG OIL QTY LEAK/LOSS WAS CONFIRMED ON THE GND BY MAINT.
