Narrative:

During takeoff roll; approaching 120 KIAS (V1=134KIAS; vr=150KIAS) the red engine fail glare shield light illuminated. Captain assumed control of the aircraft and executed a rejected takeoff. No engine parameters were exceeded and brake temperatures remained below a yellow box value. Aircraft briefly stopped on the runway while QRH procedures were complied with. Taxied to the gate and debriefed maintenance. During debrief; both the first officer and off duty pilot jump seater stated; they hear some sort of engine rollback. Aircraft was trans-loaded and flight continued to destination.
