Narrative:
At FL380 yaw damper (yd) 2 kicked off. Could not get YD2 to reengage. Aircraft started having un-commanded rudder movement/yawing to the right. Un-commanded movement started small and progressively became greater. Un-commanded movement was about every 5 seconds. After yawing exceeded 5 degrees; I requested expedited handling and advised ATC why. We landed without issue.
