Narrative:

Approximately 140 mi from atl, inbound on the mem transition, so noticed a system quantity decreasing (large transport) quantity of the system indication was below 2.5 gals. This was immediately accompanied by a flash of the #1 low pressure light and a fluctuation of system a hydraulic pressure. I immediately initiated hydraulic system leak or loss emergency checklist and all subsequent follow-up checklists. An emergency was declared and an uneventful landing was made on runway 27R in atl. Aircraft was towed in.

Title: ACR LGT LOST HYDRAULIC PRESSURE AT TOP OF DESCENT.

Narrative: APPROX 140 MI FROM ATL, INBND ON THE MEM TRANSITION, SO NOTICED A SYS QUANTITY DECREASING (LGT) QUANTITY OF THE SYS INDICATION WAS BELOW 2.5 GALS. THIS WAS IMMEDIATELY ACCOMPANIED BY A FLASH OF THE #1 LOW PRESSURE LIGHT AND A FLUCTUATION OF SYS A HYD PRESSURE.
