Narrative:

I was training on radar east; grk approach handed off aircraft Y southbound at 12;000 feet whose path coincided with the descend via STAR. ZHU handed off aircraft X descending via the arrival at 14000. Aircraft X descended in front of aircraft Y with 500 feet and 1.8 miles I believe. The collision alert never went off and I didn't notice it until two days later when it was received by tarp [traffic analysis and review program].do not let grk approach send overflights through the arrival drop box that coincides with the STAR.
