Narrative:

Ground time of approximately 1 hour 20 mins. APU secured, external electrical power wouldn't stay on line so electric hydraulic pumps turned off. 15 mins prior to pushback the 'brakes set' signal was given by ground crewman, and parking brake was set at that time. Halfway through 'through flight ' checklist the aircraft moved and contacted jetway. No passenger were present in jetway. Door was written up in the logbook and maintenance found no defects. The aircraft rolled because, although the parking brake was set, the hydraulic pressure had bled off during our ground time. My procedure now is to always check the brake pressure gauge when setting the parking brake.
