Narrative:

During landing at sfo on runway 28L (of which only 7000' was available) a widebody transport was holding short of 28R on the median taxiway. During our transition for landing flare over the approach lights (in the TDZ on 28L) widebody transport was cleared into position on 28R. Needless to say due to the close proximity of these parallel runways his jet blase (primarily from his #2 engine) rolled our medium large transport aircraft into a 30 degree bank very close to the ground. We were very nearly confronted with an extremely hazardous landing roll due to controller negligence.

Title: WDB HOLDING BETWEEN RWYS CLEARED TO MOVE INTO TKOF POSITION AS MLG WAS LNDG BEHIND THE WDB. JET BLAST ENCOUNTER CAUSED MLG TO ROLL INTO A 30 DEGREE BANK. FLT CREW RECOVERED AND LANDED.

Narrative: DURING LNDG AT SFO ON RWY 28L (OF WHICH ONLY 7000' WAS AVAILABLE) A WDB WAS HOLDING SHORT OF 28R ON THE MEDIAN TXWY. DURING OUR TRANSITION FOR LNDG FLARE OVER THE APCH LIGHTS (IN THE TDZ ON 28L) WDB WAS CLRED INTO POS ON 28R. NEEDLESS TO SAY DUE TO THE CLOSE PROX OF THESE PARALLEL RWYS HIS JET BLASE (PRIMARILY FROM HIS #2 ENG) ROLLED OUR MLG ACFT INTO A 30 DEG BANK VERY CLOSE TO THE GND. WE WERE VERY NEARLY CONFRONTED WITH AN EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS LNDG ROLL DUE TO CTLR NEGLIGENCE.
