Narrative:

B-day of a 3 day rotation. Flying with a low-time captain. According to company procedures he is to do all takeoffs to at least clean-up altitude and all lndgs from 3000' AGL. This leg from tpa to cincinnati the captain did the takeoff and clean-up. I climbed cruised and descended. He complained about a headache and being hot and sweaty. He told me to do the approach and landing in cvg. I asked him 3 times and each time he told me to do it. I complied even though it was against written company procedure. Uneventful approach and landing in cvg. I think this policy of the captain doing all takeoffs and lndgs may have him weary. I feel that what I did was appropriate and in good common sense and safe though company policy does not give much latitude in regards to low time capts.
