Narrative:

Preflight: both fuel tanks were full and fuel sump was clear; no water or debris. Completed preflight checklist. Oil on the right engine was a little above 5 qts. Left engine was around 5.75 qts. Rest of preflight was normal. Upon starting all engine indications were reading normal. We went through the checklists and everything was normal. Run-up was completed with all normal indications nothing abnormal was indicated. We taxied to runway xxl completed the before takeoff checklist. Called tower and said we were ready for takeoff. We were cleared for takeoff runway xxl. Taxied onto the runway; stopped went to throttles 2;000 checked engine instruments everything was in the green. Released breaks and went full throttles and started our ground roll. Airspeed came alive; at 75 kts we rotated. We had a positive rate of climb; no runway remaining; and were below 109 kts. Brought the gear up. I pitched for 88kts and looked at my gauges and saw the oil pressure indicator in the red and became concerned for the safety of us because of the high oil pressure reading. I told [my instructor] about it and started to pitch to 100 kts prior to 500 ft AGL to see if it would lower the indication; it did not; and started my turn to 160 degrees as directed by ATC. I told [my instructor] to call ATC so we could come back and land; because I was concerned for the safety of the flight. ATC told me to turn to the left to enter left downwind for runway xxl. We made the turn to left downwind runway xxl and were told by ATC that we are number one for landing runway xxl and were cleared to land. Then we were told by ATC that runway yy was also available to us to land on if we needed it. We came abeam of the numbers and started the gear down checklist and that was completed without an issue. I made the left base turn and pitched for 88 kts. And started my approach to runway xxl. I landed on runway xxl with no issues and taxied off and was told by ATC to not stop and make a right turn onto taxiway and contact ground. Then we contacted ground and taxied to the FBO and completed the shutdown checklist and called flight operations about returning to land at ZZZ due to safety concerns.
