Narrative:

On short final, the first officer complained of the sudden onset of severe abdominal cramping. After landing and immediately upon clearing all active runways, the first officer went back to the lav. I continued to taxi the aircraft toward the gate area. The first officer returned while still on the taxiway and we continued west/O further incident to the gate. In retrospect, I should have stopped the aircraft in a safe location while the first officer was out of the cockpit.
