Narrative:

FAA inspector visited: questioned second in command qualifications in light transport jet, per far 61 pt 55 and 91 pt 218 to carry passenger. Personal logbook will verify that second in command regulations have been and are complied with, plus documented. FAA inspector questioned: chart trip far 91 pt 181. I donated my services and time as a pilot to a local college (hesston college) that traveled to a national basketball tournament in saginaw, mi. Mar/fri/90. The owner of the aircraft indicated he was donating the flight to the college. I believe he did. How do I verify his truthfulness? How do I know money won't be exchanged for this trip at a later date? There needs to be a method of verification that an aircraft owner/operator is not using a trip for compensation. A second in command donating his services should have assurance he is not violating charter rules.
