Narrative:

Weather throughout the sector. High and low altitude sectors were combined. I cleared aircraft X to deviate around weather and he went further than I expected. Because he deviated into a sector that was not on his planned route of flight; the data block did not auto hand-off. I violated ZFW46 sector by entering their airspace without a handoff. As soon as I recognized the situation I called the sector and initiated a verbal hand-off.at the time of the event I was also working an IFR instrument approach; coordinating with adm tower; performing all other coordination because I did not have a radar assist. There was a heavy volume of coordination due to weather; calling weather to most aircraft on my frequency; and helping the flow of dal arrivals to the adjacent sector. I would not say that it was completely unmanageable; but I was busy with tasks that frequently took my eyes off the scope and I did not have a good work flow/scan because of the interruptions and complexity. I could have asked for an assist. I had been considering it but the whole facility had been working complex traffic and holding with short staffing throughout the morning. Three controllers had been sent to do recurrent training and I was trying to avoid hurting the staffing any more. I should have been more aware of how far aircraft might deviate; but I was assuming that movement would be minimal because I was briefed that the weather had not had a significant impact to my sector.
