Narrative:

[After takeoff on runway 1L] from sfo we had a departure problem. We were filed the SFO4; but ATC clearance said to use NIITE3. We missed the reroute and on departure controllers ask use what our clearance was. We said SFO4 and they gave us headings. No conflicts. Then upon checking our charts it says that the 777 is not to use the NIITE3. We were told the NIITE3 is used after 10:00 pm for noise. Company and ATC need to get on the same sheet of paper so that the same problem doesn't continue.
