Narrative:

I was at 3;500 feet heading 085 approximately over new jerusalem (1q4). I was under positive radar contact with norcal. I had just confirmed radar contact about 10 minutes earlier.an airplane; I believe another single engine; head on in a westerly direction; missed us by no more than 150-200 feet. I had no time to react and the other aircraft passed just above me and to my right.I advised ATC about the near miss and was advised 'sorry; we were pretty busy'.
